"Y Notta Y Block?" Article(s)

Can anyone let me know where to find a copy of this series of articles by Doc Frohmader, that was in Street Rodder Magazine ,and ran from Feb.-Dec. 1999?I was told it may have been re-run in another truck magazine as well.I would like to get the whole series complete, not buy individual copies,as I'm having a motor built and want to get the info quickly.I 've seen it referred to occasionally here and at the other site. Can anyone help me out? Thanks,Steve.

Hi. You may want to check this out:

Go to: Webrodder.com - Hot Rod Tech Articles & Forum

Go to: Browse all tech articles

Click on: Engines(165articles)

Go toage 31 starts on bottom Page 32 & 33 all about Y block

Some of the info here is for hot rodding a y block
and does not pertain to a stock build. So, regardless of your rebuild
be careful.

Steve,

4speed just bought a set of rams for $100.00 at a yard we went to a few weeks back. He RAN to the truck, running over me and 2many56's (LOL) so he could say "their mine!"

Last time I take him with us!

I'm scared to invite you over now once I get the electric run. I know what perfection is like! Just in different areas than your expert line of work.

Yes,Kevin,I did hear of that ram's horn catastrophe.Tragic....Sounds like 4Speed should at least try to smooth things over w/2many56's.He would be in a world of hurt here in sue-crazy California.
Bill,if you want to,I could check in on your trucks while you're gone South for the winter-you know, put out some food/water and empty the litter box, take em out for an occasional walk.I'll need those keys to the shop.Steve.

You can watch over the herd if you want....and do some wiring for me at the same time. I am not as particular as Bigwin and as long as the lights come on and the compressor fires up.....job well done!! LOL
