First of all thanks to all the replies. Due to budget or lack there of I went with mild mods. to bring you up to date The truck had a upper pulley change, mac cold air intake, and a predator tune when purchased. I have installed an Bassani cat back, accufab throttle body, C & L plenum, coil over plugs, 4lb lower pulley, 160deg. stat, idler pulleys, ngk plugs, boost bypass kit. Have ordered but yet to install a hotchkis tvs lowering kit and lfp tracktion bars hope to complete this within the next two weeks, weekend weather pending (its cold this time of year in Jersey.) I have also decided to make an appointment with JLP to have Headers, high flow cats and a shift kit done by them. Also considering a Dyno tune by them as well if I can scrape up the additional $400 it will take by the time the truck gets to them. So thats where Im at thus far. Anything I can do beyond this that is inexpensive (would love a KB blower or a Built block but I know I cant go that far my wife already barely speaks to me now) would be appreciated. I also will be installing a boost guage and the lfp boost overlay kit so I can see what that stock eaton can put out (14 to 16 psi I would think).
thanks again for the input. Also for a streetable truck is methanal a reasonable option please give pros-cons versus nitrus again pros-cons. I dont have money to blow the motor just yet the truck has about 37,000 miles on it currently.
thanks again
