There is a gun show at the KS Coliseum Jan. 3-4. Me and my Brother are gonna go up and take a look around. I expect prices to be high. Due to the way the elections went last fall and new legislation being proposed I have received reports of folks doing a lot of buying now ahead of the new expected anti gun laws. This in the past has driven prices up.

We are going up on Saturday so we don't miss football. Anyone else want to go?

 

That would be fun and it has been a while since I've been to one. I've not been to the Wichita show, but would expect it is quite large.

 

There were 400 tables available. Don't know if they well rent them all. I'll most likely just look at primer prices. But they may not have any. I haven't been to a show in a bunch of years. Depends on how long my leg holds out how long I will be there.

Anyone what to meet for breakfest? Or maybe lunch or dinner afterwards?

 

Would be nice but i don't get paid til the 6th of jan so i wouldn't be able to make it.

I went to one years ago in Overland Park KS and there was a vender there called Max's Ammo. He had good deals on reloads, selling a bunch of ammo in ziploc bags.

I don't know. It opens at 9:00 AM. The dealers can get there starting at 7:30. So parking will be bad by 9:00. I sent my brother info today. Let me get with him this week and see when he wants to go up.

 

I talked with my brother and he said he could meet us some place but he is not going to eat. I may not eat either but I'll need a large cup of of something warm. Clint said he might be up for breakfest but most likely won't go to the Gun show.

 

Time? I can't do the show I have to be home to do a few things before we go to Beloit.

 

The show starts at 9:00 so I was thinking about 8:00. Really depends where folks want to go. If we go to Spangles in Park City could be a bit after 8:00. If we did Cracker Barrel then maybe a bit before.

As I remember folks tend to get in a bit of a hurry and rude at Cracker Barrel wanting to get to the show early. As they charge for parking I just need a spot to meet my Brother then I'll buy Clint breakfest and ride up with my Brother. Get me a large to go coffee and I'll be good. Wendy's is up there also. You and Clint can decide. My Brother and I will just visit and get warmed up to get ready to stand outside in the cold.

 

How about Spangles then at 8:00 then? :-)

I have 10-15 more VHS tapes if you want them Chad. They are factory tapes like the others. Have about 35 home made tapes that I need to find something to do with. Those numbers will grow next week but mostly on the home made side.

 

Hey Jack are you guys bringing a truck? If so have clint bring garrets front end and I'll take it to dad's on Sunday... or have him call me.
