The FX4 superdutys have a differential locker in the rear, its a limited slip. Its works alright, alot better than just an open diff.

Get a detroit tru-trac its a limited slip type locker that works very well. Im planning on getting one here very soon.

A limited slip is not a locker. It is just that, it limits slip, but some slip will still occur particularity if one wheel is completely off the ground or has no traction. A locker completely locks both wheels together so there is no slip at all.

The Trutrac is a gear type limited slip - not a locker. Dodge also uses the gear type limited slip from the factory. Much more reliable then clutch type LSDs, but may require you to step on the brake a bit for them to engage if one tire has no traction at all.

I stand corrected! I was always under the impression that the Z71 package included the G80 option. Sorry 'bout that. Not really a Chevy guy...

I still like mine over an open diff or the LS I had in my 04 F-150.
