Thats pretty good... now if you could find someone here with a good Dana 60 on leafs out of a F350 and they're willin to part with it... would be a great upgrade to yer truck... I have trouble keeping splitter front ends together out here in ranch country... the only 250's we have left have been demoted to light duty jobs. All our other trucks have been upgraded to the heavier axle. The 40k original miles on your truck is AWESOME... what old snowbird that only used it to pull his camper to Florida in the winter did you steal that from? I gave 9500 ( including an old dodge cummins trade in) for my red one in the pic/sig..and thought I was stealing it....book at the time was still 14k and it had 128k on it... you got a better deal...mine also had engine wiring fire issues at the time of purchase.

looks great ,i love taht color combination.are those the original wheels?i was looking for a set of those so hopefully you dont like them.those tires look 33-12.50-16,or may be metric 285- something?
remember when shopping for a clutch to ask if its gonna be "noise"(gear rollover kind noise).
great buy!!!

thanks nikwave. yep those are the stock wheels, very dirty stock wheels . its a shame i just sold the stock wheels off my green truck in my sig. they are 285's and the truck has an add-a-leaf up front. yeah i was on valairs ws, and some of the descriptions note the noise. not sure what to get?!?!

ps im in love with my power mirrors!!

Chris, any time you go away from the dual mass it's gonna get noisy. Some more than others. I've had several clutches from Dan (Valair) and some were noisy, some weren't. The one I have in right now is pretty noisy. But not terrible. Basicly from what I gather, the smoother running the motor, the less noisy. The dual mass is meant to counteract engine "spikes" with rattle the gears. Also known as gear rollover. Anyway, find a clutch you want and give Dan or Kevin a call. Tell them Cody from Death Row Diesel sent ya, and they will make the price even sweeter. Their clutches are top notch and the customer service is second to none. I promise you'll love the clutch. The ceramics and feramics are a little grabby, but they will hold more power than we can make. And if you have Stage 1's, you'll need a stouter clutch. But just call them and tell them what you do with the truck, and they will set you up with the right clutch for the truck. Hope that helps.

Nice lookin truck, sounds like what mine was like when i got it.... 63,000 miles ago and just over 2 years. IIRC my dad's got a D60 out of an 88 or 89 F350, it would have 4.10's in it. I can ask how much he wants for it if you want, I'm up in MA so it wouldnt be to bad of a drive.
