Well for the 7.3 I'd recommend a BTS, but for a rebuild, over in Madison there's a guy, Bernard Weaver... Weaver's Transmission... built mine and has been rock solid so far.

Jim's transmission , in manassas,va. the mechinic is Festis use only him, he built my sub. 400 turbo trans. pulled a 31' trl with it for years & did a c-6 for me you will never have a problem .

Thanks, I have gotten someone a friend recommened. Unfortunatly I cant seem to get my truck back now..... He did the complete rebuild using top of the line parts, put it back together, HE did not like the way it shifted so he re-tuned the VB, still did not like the way it shifted so he ordered more parts..... this guy is a perfectionist.....

I heard that the ats transmission is a very strong tranny and only cost about $2,200 with a 5 year, 150 miles warranty. I think that with the money for the BTS tranny, I could by an ATS tranny and TQ converter. What do you guys think?
What truck are you puttin this on? And what motor does it have. Brian builds an awesome tranny for a 7.3 with a dare-you-to-break it warranty.... my next tranny will be built by him, hands down
