The number one "Achilles Heal" IMO of the 6.0 isn't even the headbolts, its the cooling system being plumbed in series leading to the domino or snowballing type of failures. Diesels made before the EGR age are much more tolerant of poorly maintained cooling systems and the 6.0 is probably the least tolerant of the lot.
