MA trailer laws

So.... do you have to inspect and insure all trailers in this wonderful state? I have never owned a trailer, but would like to pick something up to carry our four wheelers, and other equipment around. If so, anyone know what that kind of coverage runs? Im not looking to haul dozers or anything (if the weight rating of the trailer comes into play).

I know here in NH that any trailer with 2 or more axles must be inspected..No one ever does though

You need an RMV1 from your insurance agent. From the horse's mouth (****?):
