I think this just shows that what is happening to the big 3 is not the fault of the big 3 but the combination of economy, credit crunch and gas price instability.

yea even the imports are part of the same economy the big 3 are in..

no reason they should be exempt..

It also goes to show (based on the numbers) how much better Toyota is doing without UAW legacy costs weighing them down. They'll be posting a lower loss for the entire year than GM does for a single month.
