Intercoolers> 7.3 or 6.0?

Yep, 6.0 Runs cooler and will flow more air. IIRC you will need to adapt it with rubber boots, the inlets/outlets are different size from the 7.3. Since you already have all 'your intercooler parts gathered' it may be better to stay with the 7.3 but If you have the option, go with the 6.0 cooler.

One of the 6.0 cooler connections are larger than the other. I believe its the driverside and its 3.5 inch or maybe 3.25. I can't remember ecactly. I went from the 7.3 to 6.0 and didn't notice any change in temps. EGT's are very difficult to gauge. The Superduty guys make this swap as well and all say that empty there is little to no change but when towing the 6.0 cooler runs 100-150 cooler.
Comparing the 7.3, 6.0 and banks coolers I will give you some dimensions. I don't know flow ratings though.
here are some hard numbers
Superduty 7.3 29x18x2 cu inches 1044
Banks 7.3 29.5"x18"x2.25" 1194 cu in
Stock 6.0 26.5"x21"x2.5" 1391 cu in
The 6.0 cooler is the largest of the three. If you want the best in cooling and performace Spearco and The DI IC can't be beat.
