First Truck

1985 F150 2 wd with some funky hubcaps and running boards. I spent $40 a week driving around with my bros and that was when gas was less than $1 per gallon. The best part was I got the truck for $1 from my uncle, and he made me pay!!!!!

First Car: 1974 Mustang II V-6. I HATED that car, it was one of the worst POS cars Ford ever built.

First Truck: '03 F150

My first car was a '57 Ford 2 door Custom, which I bought from my brother-in-law after we rebuilt the engine.

1981 Ford Mustang. Had it from 1984 to 1987 before I was rear ended and it was totalled. Balanced and blueprinted engine with 5 speed manual.

You've done an awesome job so far SCRebel. I hope mine turns out as good as that.

Thanks! I've had it since I was 15. And yours will as long as you buy quality products and put work into it.

I've also rebuilt and upgraded the engine, and trans, as well as a solid axle swap.

We've had ours since we got married in 1985, it was our first new vehicle. We will keep it as long as we can, probably pass it on to our son. I always try to use original equipment or better. It is pretty much original, with a few minor changes. I am in the process of body work and painting right now. Since I have no carport or garage, I am doing everything outside. I have mechanical experience, but am teaching myself body and paint as I go along. I have found a really good local company for my primer and paint; Home
and they have an awesome forum too, much like this one; SPI User Forums

Haha thanks but no thanks, I've put so much work into it I doubt I will ever get ride of it. Might keep it and give it to my son if I have one. I plan to hit the next car show with it too.

My first car is a 2005 ford expedition and then I have two other vehicles. A 1992 Lincoln Towncar, and a 2001 ram 1500.
