2008 F150 - Quality or not?

My wife's fusion allows you to switch between CD's too, and skip backwards song by song. Mine doesn't. Stupid if you ask me; the stereo's should be the same if it's an audiophile..

I appreciate your objectivity. And I agree, the junk truck needs to go to into the dealer before warranty expiration. But you know ho things go with most dealers... I'll bet you are correct about all brands having issues. But I suspect that the total number of issues is higher than some makes than others. And I have to say, for a new Ford product, this truck was no where near the quality I had expected.

Ya' know, now a days everybody seems to have these ultra high expectations that it just makes me sick. Go get on your high **** horse and go buy something else.

let me post my woes
1. 2 different recalls for fire hazards that took 1 week each
2. brand new PCM
3. CEL saying bad 02 sensors...replaced sensors...eventually found it was the PCM was corrupted
4. Re-occuring airbag warning light after a hard rain...Dodge can't figure out why...eventually just goes away by itself
5. Rear axle has a pinion seal leak
6. Bad sensor on the manifold...bad enough to drop fuel mileage by 2 mpg, but not enough to throw sensors...caught when tracking down the 02 problem
7. F'ing SUV that can't hold carseats without moving the front seats 8" forward...I'm 6'3" and need all the room I can get...my knees are litterally 1-2" from the dash at all times
8. The interior plastic seat trim is cracking and broken on front buckets...not really sure why, but it's embarrassing
+ stuff: 5.7 Hemi is a monster...and the dual exhaust sounds nice
I will never buy a Dodge ever again. I'll drive this one until it is done falling apart on me, then I'm going straight to Ford and buying an Expedition EL as I'd originally intended. I hate that Dodge

I was editing my previous post but had a browser hang up. So here I go again.
The door seal does not just fall off. Somehow, someway at some point it was pulled down. The underside of the hood is painted, correct? Then it has a finish on it. Just what can you see from the drivers seat? Pics please to illustrate what you object to. The tailgate top trim came off. How many things have been dragged off of the tailgate that snagged on that trim piece tearing the retention clips off? As for the shifter are you referring to weather there is a solid thunk when the tranny shifts? Or are you complaining about how the lever feels when putting in in gear? Now for the TPMS alert: just what was the pressure in the tires when the one sensor alerted? Were all the tires within 2 pounds pressure of each other? What was the diagnoses of the cause for the alert? If the tires are not filled to the recommended pressure then you might expect an alarm. This groaning you write of, is it the ventilation doors moving after the vacuum drops? There maybe a vacuum leak somewhere in the system allowing the doors to shift. That problem may be associated with the auto climate control problems. However I do not see these problems to be all that you make them out to be. Yes the climate control needs to be fixed. But the other things are easy fixes and would take less effort than it took to type this post. IMHO.
