I live in northern Montana. Most of our snow removal in the my town is solar powered. So we have a lot of ice and packed snow. My Wife's 06 Escape 4X4 does great for this. In deep snow I prefer my 06 F250 4X4. The Escape is a little light for deep snow, but still does very well. In most conditions it is hard to beat.
