Personally I wouldn't use either. They are not fixed hones, meaning they don't true a cylinder at all, they only follow whats there & can do more bad than good when used in excess. Measure the bore with a good dial bore gage. Mic the piston at the correct location to determine the clearance. If a cylinder is round to within say .0015 you probably would be ok with just zipping up and down it a cupple of times with a berry hone, assuming the skirt clearance was within specs. Anymore & I'd get it bored if you intend to keep it.
