Finally got to plow with the II's

Well it finally snowed here the other day and i have to say that i was very impressed with the truck. It had much more power, which i already knew, but i was able to use it and not have temps through the roof. The needle staid between 400 and 650ish degrees. It was only a 4 inch storm so it wasnt working hard by any means but I will fill in on a heavy storm on saturday, we are getting a nice 6-12 inch storm tomorrow and its supposed to be wet heavy snow.

Ya pretty much, I've got nothing but good things to say about them. I thought that i read that someone wanted to know how they acted ie egts and such, so there it is. I'll have info for a heavier storm tomorrow.

I was asking about plowing with 2's. Glad to hear they are good so far! Keep us posted on the heavier snow.

Well just got in from plowing, 20 hours later. And still very impressed, at times it would go to about 900 maybe touch 1000, but that was with a real heavy load out front. In general it staid between 6-8, usually more towards the 800 mark, we ended up getting about 13inches of snow and it started out nice and wet/heavy and then became light powedery as the night went on. Next time it goes it will probably have the sander in it, and if it does it will have the I/C installed (still gathering pieces). So i'll update this thread again when that happens.
