I should know better, but I did it anyway. I was pulled over in Philly about an hour and a half ago and they impounded my vehicle. The reason I was stopped was the officer thought my tires where to big. The vehicle is properly registered and insured but my license had been suspended for speeding a couple of years ago when I was headed to Carlisle. A truck had sped by when I was on the turnpike that I knew and I wanted to catch up to them, a state trooper was on the entrance ramp and tagged me. Now I don't usually speed, in fact 99-3/4 % of the time I'm right at the limit. I only had a little while to go to get my license back. I know you shouldn't drive under suspension but I really don't have a choice, not being able to drive and no vehicle is like my legs being cut off. There is so much I have to do that I can't rely on others to drive me around, much of it is medical. Tomorrow I'll go to the traffic court with a licensed driver and sign away my Christmas gifts, dinner, New Years celebration and whatever else they decide I should contribute to a city that is on the verge of bankruptcy. Again, I should know better, but, but, but.
