Vibration with Hubs Locked

My 01' F-350 has picked up a vibration with the hubs locked in.
I replaced the hubs a few years ago with Mile Markers and while I'm not real happy with them I don't think they are the problem.
I don't wheel the truck, I only use the four wheel drive when I tow my trailer in the sand, or drive in the snow, so the odds of me bending the driveline on something are pretty slim.
Axle or driveline u-joints, maybe a wheel bearing?
Guess I could start by dropping the front driveline and taking it for a ride...

u sure u dont have a dried out axle Ujoint ???

do ur Ujoints have grease nipples ??? most dont...

if ur lucky enuf to have em i'd pump some fresh grease into em and see what squirts out..it'll give u a good indication of what the insides are doing...

Dropping the front driveshaft and taking it for a ride with the hubs locked is a good idea.

I'd get under there and see if they are loose first, you might find out something without having to take the driveshaft out

I guess I'm used to my ol' Bronco..axle u-joints go click click SNAP... and then you replace them...
I'll try to get it up on some jacks this weekend and check my 01' U-Joints.
Considering I have about 80,000 on it should I replace the wheel bearings if I have tear it apart for the u-joints??
Thanks

i wouldnt go by mileage.. go by overall look of things..

get it apart and if its looks worn or suspect then throw new bearings/races on it. otherwise just repack em and be done with it..
