Nick,
Thats what these bheads do up in Sac ( damn polictians) but did you read the Times today?Arnold is basically putting environmentalists on hold as pushes through some big projects such as $165 million carpool lane expansion on hwy 50 that was delayed because of greenhouse gas it might create. Jobs go a long way right now , some of these laws just don`t make sense to everyday peeps. Yes alot of states play follow the leader in hopes of chasing federal $

Hanklin
Yep I read that in the paper today. Finaly a LITTLE common sence lets see how far this goes

That won't be an excuse for too much longer. EPA has already drafted laws to affect off-road equipment as well. With Dems in control, they could easily pass it within the year. These laws will affect everything from 2-stroke engines to 25 hp and over tractors. I can promise you they will eventually affect off-road vehicles if they won't already by the time the law comes up for passing.

So far CA has only mandated emissions inspections starting with '07 and newer light duty diesels. So far no word on anything older. Hopefully they'll sit on the rest of us long enough so I can get grandfathered. I might have to transfer out of the state if they start requiring me to get tested bi-annually. Even at wide open throttle, I blow a lot less smoke than a lot of cars I see. Maybe the EPA should crack down on the older cars, they're the ones who don't take care of their cars and let them go. We're the ones who take care of our rigs. Why penalize us for wanting a little extra leg room and the power to pull a house whenever we want to? I mean, how many Ford Aerostar and Hyundai Elantra owner's forums are out there and this active, really?

scottm1 is starting off with a positive reputation.
I don't see that letter "defending" ATS from anything. It only appears ATS is just sucker punching and trying to throw everyone else under the bus.
