nice 41!

I just picked up a truck last week and it is a 41 just like this but it is a 4x4 and it is a pick-up.I am not shur what to make of it.the frame looks to maybe be a marmon herrington convertion frame but the guy I got the truck from said the trans kept poping out of gear so he gave the truck to a guy to pull the trans and so he could get it fixed.when he tryed to get parts for it he could not find any so the guy put a new style auto trans and tranfer case in it but never finished it.I got the truck and there is no way that is going to work so I am taking that set up out and am going to just put a trans with no transfer case on for now and make a drive shaft for the rear and drive it till I can maybe find the correct set up to change it back to a 4x4.the truck also has a small block 302 in it.anyone have any info or parts that would help?let me know.thankx

Update

Here is an update. I am finishing the new bed work and am starting to get optimistic this will be completed this year. The paint on the side is still wet so it looks funny and paint is being matched as I go so ignore the running boards and bumper which get a new color. It will get the three color camo scheme eventually.

The benches will be separated by two chests also high enough to sit on. The step ladder will be strapped up in the bed and will aid in boarding. some handle hardware is being made too. Next update I should have the canvas on her. I did name her. She's Bessie.
