air bags
Anyone ever use the ride rite air bags that go inside the front coil spring? I could use an extra inch of rise and maybe more if I try to haul a camper.

Yeah, we use them in the front of E-350 arial bucket vans to compensate for the boom being just behind the "cab". Last for 150,000 miles or more, then they tend to leak at the valves (I think this is due to questionable air sources-easy fix though) or every once in a while will blow out due to pinching or a wear spot on the supply tubing, no outriggers and they do tend to "bounce" around a lot when the boom is in use (see the snubbers flattened!). The benefits of extra load capacity (we are maxxed out up front w/ 460's or TD's especially-these things are heavy!) and the improved handling of the top heavy vans (run with 'Bago swaybars in the rear also) make them very worth while for us.
