if this is not where it belongs, someone help me out please, and move it to the proper location??
My 10 year old daughter is supposed to find a penpal in another country for her social science class at school......she is suppoed to write a letter, explaining what our government does for our community, make copy, mail it and hopefully get a response, bringing both to school around January 20th.
If anyone has a child who might be interested, boy or girl, between the ages of 9 and 11, I would be ever so grateful~~
I know this sounds crazy, but I didnt create the assignment~~~~LOL
Besides, I think it would be a GREAT learning experience on both ends~~
YES! Actually I was trying to figure out where all I had posted this....LOL
My daughter has a wonderful penpal for her school project, and I hope they keep in touch......
both of my daughters, on the other hand have managed to also find themselves with an additional penpal each......letters are all written and ready to be posted tomorrow~~~
now I have to find ONE more of these posts.....
