How many miles fo you have?
Just curious, who has logged the most miles? I have 96K on mine. Unfortunately, my EX just sits since my wife got her BMW and that the kids now all walk to school and back. It's become the infamous "grocery getter" and family mobile. So we put a grand total of 30-40 miles a week on her. : (

That thread seems aimed at the 6.8litre V10 folks, not just the X.
My Excursion has 173k miles on it with nothing other than general maintenance. Pulls like a champ, and the previous owner never put anything other than regular pump diesel in it, no additives, and 15w-40 oil, and never used the block heater. Since buying it I put in 16oz of Diesel Kleen with every tank, switching over to Rotella 5w-40 full synthetic oil, and use the block heater any time it gets below 35F. Hopefully I'll get another 173k out of it.

I have 134,000 on my 2003 6.0L Excursion.
I have all 8 original injectors, turbo, EGR valve, EGR cooler and head gaskets.
I use double-dosage of Power Service in every tank fill up (32oz per 44 gallons).
I use Rotella-Syn 5W-40 since 50,000 miles and only use Racor/Motorcraft oil and fuel filters and change my oil every 5,000 miles and fuel filters every 15,000 miles.

We just rolled over 212,000 miles! Other than the normal maintenance of Royal Purple fluids all around and routine tire rotations there has not been many issues. We changed plugs at 100,000 and 200,000; ball joints last weekend; coolant flush with royal purple ice at 100,000 and 200,000; three altenators (ALOT of stereo equipment, radios, and sat recievers); bilsteins shocks and hellwig swya bars at 75,000; air bags at 150,000, and a banks monster exhaust at 75,000; and that is about it.
Thanks Bryan

You must be driving a diesel with all that miles. You still have your OEM 6-CD changer? I'm looking for a used one sometime after the holidays. Sorry, I did not mean to hijack this thread...and now back to our scheduled program..
