Well, we just took our 2005 Limited AWD on a fairly long road trip. Just got married and drove from Spring, TX to Woodland Park, CO for a week.
The winds we ran into on the plains around the panhandle and into New Mexico were rough, and the snow was a surprise (the amount and how it shut down a few roads) but the AWD took it in stride and the ABS was working like a charm. Got a set of Firestone Destination A/T's put on before the trip and they are a dream to ride on compared to the cruddy Continentals that are the factory fodder. They are loud and didn't handle too well. The Firestones are quiet and smooth.
The ONLY think I could think of to critique this truck about would be the seats. Lack of lumbar support made it kinda rough but it wasn't too bad. I am surprised that this is the case as it is a Limited and has no lumbar adjustment.
Ah well...all in all a great trip and a fun one. Drove up into Pike's Park and was pleased with how well it handled the roads and trails/snow.
