I see the under bed storage to be a silly idea on a truck, for my needs. What am I supposed to do if I have stuff in the bed? Unload it all to get to this door? The bed rails aren't going anywhere, and don't typically have any say in the matter of work (unless you have a tonneau like already discussed). Time will tell.
I agree, but the rule of thumb is that once the work is done, ( ie unloading the truck ) then you can play. ( ie reaching the beer tucked away in the storage area )

I don't want it on my trucks. I need the extra space in front and behind the wheel wells. Many times I could not have gotten wood, steel or other large objects to fit into the bed without the extra space. (Hypotenuse of a triangle is the longest) Also if you have a topper on your truck the storage on the ram is pretty much worthless. Thanks but no thanks.
On a side note I will say the new Doge Rams are nice looking trucks. I noticed the dual exhaust with cutouts on the bumpers and thought that was a good idea.
After driving a FlareSide for three or four years now, I can say it is VERY nice having a full size bed. Kind of sucks having the bed size of a Ranger. It's never been a real problem, but I think my next truck will have a full size bed.
I agree also about the dual exhaust. Looks excellent. I think the exhaust tips are 5'' or so, eh? Looks sharp.

Being an Avalanche owner I would call Dodge's RAMBOX, Avalanche saddle bags DONE RIGHT! While the ones on my Avy are very useful, the ones on the Ram are downright awesome by comparison! Bigger full length opening with compartments versus a smaller opening with hard to reach areas.
starting at least 10 years ago, you could get bed box body's on ford trucks. looked just like a pickup bed, but had side compartments like a service body. there are a lot of the local construction companies here in New Jersey with them.

Ford got some nice new under seat storage under the seats, I think the ram box is garbage, and waiting to be broken into, can you even lock the ram box? like you can a ford tail gate haha.

Yes you can lock it.
I bet it will be harder to break into a Rambox then it is to break into a Super Duty? What does it take to break into a super duty again? Just a flathead screwdriver to pry to the door handle off right?

you can break into and drive away with a dodge 2500 ram in under 3 minutes, with a screwdriver, and a pair of vice-grip pliers. and not do ANY damage to the vehicle other than lock cylinders.
i know this to be true, because i have done it 5 times already.

Moonlighting as a truck theif? Just kidding. Or am I? All truck manufacturers try to one-up the other with either horsepower or options. This is just Dodge's next ante. Like the tailgate step on the Super Duties and now the 150. Don't like a trucks features? Don't buy it. Some guys like the individual options. Only Chevy seems to be behind on both the horsepower and features game. Dodge stomps Chev on the horsepower (half ton trucks) and Ford and Dodge out-feature Chevy. Whats real funny is how Chevy's commercials make fun of these features and seem to brag how Chevy is nothing more than a truck with a V-8 and a cargo bed that gets one mile per gallon better economy. Thats what makes me laugh.

Same thing for the super duties. There was actually a guy on here that left his truck outside for a min, came back out, found drivers door open, hood open, engine running with no keys in the ignition, an no real visible wire damage.

I own two fords. I'm hardly dissing Ford. I just don't pretend they do not have any faults at all, and that they are the pinnacle of automotive awesomeness.
