86 F150 Wheels, Strong enough?

I took the wheels with the center caps and the beauty rings off my 86 F150 XLT Lariat super cab long box and I was sand blasting them to paint them and I noticed it said 900lbs capacity per wheel. I am putting them on my 86 F150 4x4 reg cab long box, and they both have the same engine (302) but this doesn't seem like much of a weight limit to me, will this be a problem?
Thanks
C' Fordman

I am putting some 31x10.5's on them and doing a bit of wheeling.

that cant be right, that truck weighs close to 5000, and its sayin that the wheels can only hold 3600, id recheck that

I'll check it out agian becuase I agree it doesn't sound right at all but I am almost positive that is what it said. These wheels are very common I believe they used them on half tons all the way till 91.

If they are steel wheels, I'd think the rating is 1900# per. If they are alum., then I have seen these as low as 1300# in a 15"x10" size (el cheapo rims), so 900# per on a smaller 6" or 7" wide alum. might not be out of the question, but I also agree, they would not have put on wheels that have less capacity than the weight of the truck up to GVWR.

They are a set of steel wheels of an 86 lariat. They must be 1900 because 900 wouldn't even come close to covering the stock trucks weight. They are a standard 15x7 5 bolt. They are going on the truck pretty quick I am sure they will be fine. Thanks.
