air ride suspension?

hey! i have a 78 ford f100 and i would like to lower it using an air ride system (most transit buses have them) i was wondering a whos' done it and how hard is it , and b how much will it cost. i would like to add an on-board compressor to raise the truck a few if i need to, otherwise keep it lower. any ideas? thanks
