help removing heater core on 1990 F150

I need alot of info on removing the heater core on a 1990 F150 .... got no clue where to start or stop.

open glove box take it out by pushing in the tabs....then there is a black plate with 4 or 5 screws in it take them out u will see it....go under hood unhook hoses pull out through the glovebox and reverse to put back in

i will add: mark hoses, drain gallon or so of coolant, put towel inside cab or plastic when pulling core out, clean out debris and make sure flapper door is working inside heater box.

yep i forgot the flapper door on my 87....big mistake

You might find a couple of vacum lines and or a cable across the cover for the heater core. Just get them loose and you don't have to unhook them. Might have to twist and turn the heater core to get it out, but it will come out. The blend door is in the lower left corner under the cover. The entire operation takes less than 1/2
hour
Not hard at all.

thanks guys .... got it out without alot of trouble .... and it went back much easier
