Spacer blocks under front leaf springs?

I was told that having spacer blocks under the front leaf springs, is a bad idea. There is a superduty 4x4 on ebay (item #110323806126) that has spacers in the front. 2 inch, I think. Are blocks, in the front, that size okay? Or should you avoid front blocks all together.

I noticed in one of the photos, that one of the blocks is already sitting sideways on the axle. D-side photo I think. Yikes!

Blocks under front leafs can be very dangerous. They can shift and move or worse plain fall out. Nothing could be worse then a loss steering while driving.

Dangerous and super stupid! Bad enough that they're illegal in VA.

All it takes is to shear the center pin on the block and you lose your front end/steering. Very BAD. I believe it's illegal in most sates if not all.

Add to that there is no trailer hitch, only a 4 pin connector hanging from under the bumper. This is suspicious since there are 2 holes drilled in the dash under the pooka, which looks a lot like a brake controller used to be mounted there.

Not to mention that the driver's door marker light (rear bottom of door) is missing it's cover and maybe it's bulb (why would that have been broken/removed?).

I wouldn't give it any more time and move on...

That truck is from Michigan. The law here states NO blocks in front axle at all, and no more than 4" block in rear.

It's the guys like whoever built this truck that caused all the lift laws.

My XLT came with a tape player... and I'm in Northern Indiana, before I sprayed my frame it was looking pretty rusty...
