Cruise control shifting down on slight inclines. 2008 Expedition

Is there any adjustment on the cruise control on 2008 Expeditions? Mine wants to shift down even on small grades with or without a trailer traveling at 60-65 MPH. If I control the speed with the gas pedal I can maintain speed without it shifting down on the same hills. Help.

3.31 axles? I get the downshift infrequently on "slight grades" with my 3.73 gears. But on normal interstate driving I notice my wife's Honda downshifts on the same "steeper" grades that the truck does.

I haven't seen transmissing tuning offered.

If you are running larger tires that will make it worse.
