when you get change from anyplace, make sure the bills have been checked with the counterfeit bill pen.
on a good bill, the pen ink will look a light green-yellowish color.
on a fake bill, it will be black.
last night, the deli down the street got 2 fake $10's. today they got 5 more in both the deli and pharmacy next door.
and so far today, i have heard 4 police calls for counterfeit bills in town.
these are very well done counterfeit bills.
i saw all 7 of the bills from the deli this afternoon, and the only thing i can see is some of the small 10's around the statue of liberty's torch on the front are missing, the bricks on top of the building over the doors on the back of the bill are smudged and not clearly lined, and the watermark is missing.
other than these three things, they look perfect, down to even having different serial numbers.
