I do not have any of these trucks but I do have a 2005 F-150 Supercrew 2wd that will need tires soon. I am thinking of new wheels as well and have seen 23" Saleen wheels for sale online. The front and rear have different offsets so rotation is out. Has anyone that has a similar set up had any problems and/or comments about this situation: bad and uneven (excessive) wear, handling problems etc..
Thanks Tylus. i looked around a bit and found some nice 22" on e-bay. They are more expensive but at the present time I am still looking. I do like them though. I found some 2009's that have a some black on them which would match my black truck better. The nice thing about the Saleen wheels is that they seem to be a greatly discounted price, but they have been for sale a long time. Not sure yet what I want but thanks again for the advice.
They must have had a firesale at Saleen since I've seen about 50 people selling them for around $400 a set for either chrome or silver...I wish I liked them more but the no rotation thing is a definate concern...I guess if you drive it like it was built for the only rotation you'd be doing is the smoky kind!
