question about soft doors and mirrors

for those oof you running with soft doors, is there a mirror to keep the truck street legal?

I just bought a 74 and the doors that were included are a wreck. I want to put a pair of soft doors on it so that I can use the truck while rebuilding the originals, but am having trouble with the mirror issue. any help??

thx

I'm not sure about the regs in your area, but as long as you have a interior rear view mirror, you should be legal. I have ran soft doors or no doors on mine for several years and have had no hassles for not having a mirror.

There is a mod that involves using Jeep CJ mirrors mounted to the windshield frame.

Crawler is right that usually on things this old they don't care but... If you need outside mirrors the bullet style 60s mustang mirrors will bolt to your front fenders and work just fine... or you can get 70s jeep style mirrors and make them work
