bennyhona with all due respect.(reference to Ricky Bobby) You basically have an f150 single cab with heavier suspension. You did good though you bought a Ford tell that to some of my friends on the east coast. I am putting a supercharger on soon. You don't really stroke these motors they are basically like a sleeve. My main concerns with the supercharger have to do with the computer saying it is lean and since I am in Tucson I have to pass emissions and it might not pass if I don't get it right.

I'm sure the Diablosport can write a custom tune for your application.

And How is a SuperDuty a F150 with a heavier suspension. That would be a F250LD or F150 with the 7700 payload package.
The SD F250 had a larger frame, heavier suspension, larger rearend, 8 lugs etc. Not a F150 at all.

Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of bolton power adders like you want for the 5.4L SD. I want to do either a whipple or Kenne Bell, but I know I am going to have to fab up some parts to get the intake situated. The problem is mainly demand, I guess not enough of us feel our trucks could benefit from another 100hp.

Throttlebody position would be the main difference, I am guessing.

I'm gonna smack you so super hard (Mr. Guermo reference, Southpark)

Seriously, the only similarity to an F150 is the engine, some of the trans', tailgate (on older ones) and some of the transfer cases. The super duty is a totally different animal, and really the 5.4 in the SD's has different fuel trims and some other small mods.

Should have read all yall other posts before typing in outrage. I swear... the people that haven't gotten out of the 80's... geeze us

On another note, I too am interested in this 5.4 supercharge concept... perhaps I could turn my truck true "Super" Duty

Roush makes a supercharger for the 5.4L but it is designed for the F150. I've watched the Roush installation video on YouTube.com several times and it seems that there are two key differences between the F150 and F250/F350. They are:

1. The pulley bracket may not fit the F250/F350.
2. The ECM may not be compatible and may require special tuning.

In the classified section of this forum, there is a guy selling new Roush superchargers for $2,700.00. I contacted him (Andy) earlier in the year and he said that the kit would NOT ift a F250/F350. At that price, I'm tempted to try it even if I have to fab up some custom parts and acquire custom tunes for the ECM.

i'm pretty sure that supercharging your 5.4 cuts your safe towing capacity near in half. not sure why, likely due to overheating issues. be sure to research this thought if you really use your truck as a SD...
