Want to install OEM NAV into my 2005 F250

I am looking to install an OEM Nav system into my 2005 F250. It has the 6 disk cd in it now. I am looking for part #'s that will work for my truck and install hints. Also if someone has a unit or knows of one for sale.

I was going to trade the truck in on a new Ford with Nav, but the $ is short.

Thanks!

Personally I wouldn't waste my time or money. I think that going to an aftermarket deck with navigation, and DVD is a much better investment. Depending on what you pay for parts it can actually be done cheaper (the Ford Nav unit costs like $2000 new, but you can find deals on used ones to get it cheaper if you really want to go that way).

I have the Kenwood DDX-6019 and add on KAN-G510 Nav unit and KNA-BT100 bluetooth phone kit in my 07 F350. I am extremely happy with it. I recommend people to look at the newer DNX series units with the navigation built in now (wasn't available when I bought my unit). The DNX-8120 even has the bluetooth built in too, which makes for a really nice install. Here's a pic of the unit in my truck, I think it looks really nice and everything works and sounds great.

I have the controls on my steering wheel. Can the after market units use the inputs?

You have to get a steering wheel interface module, then you can make them work. I have the P.A.C. SWI-Jack and it works well with my Kenwood.
Products Detail

My Kenwood doesn't have a regular mode button since you can switch the video and audio sources separately, so I just made the Mode button work as a previous track button (or scan back when using the radio). I really like it that way.
