Some how I`m sure you got your use out of the Ski Roule back afew years ago.
How does it compare to today`s machines for speed?

I didnt get to drive it a whole lot, as it was too fast for me when i was young, and as i got older we got a little newer sleds.

It was my dads baby though, and it was fast. He said it was geared to go about 95mph top speed, and he could almost flip it over backward. He also said it could lay a blackie on the pavement haha.

Yeah, for the year it sure was.

Best part was the ski stance though. The track was a 20 inch track, and the ski stance was about 30 inchs haha. Made for a tippy ride sometimes!

Thanks for the link, it`s nice to see another picture of this beast that sort of looks like a tundra buggy.

Good call morris, it does look like a tundra buggy, sorta

I wouldnt mind checking it out sometime up close, i bet pictures dont do it justice at all!

There`s nothing like being up close though even in the pictures it looks awesome.

Although it's not a Deere(), Big Roy is one hell of a tractor for its time. I would love to see it up close and here it run.

yeh those big bud tractors were huge! the honeybee boys in saskatchewan built a few big 4wd and 2 wd tractors as well.
