Block heater plug.

Block heater plug Install.
Ok I have been trying to find a mounted block heater plug for the truck for a little while. Well I believe it is TNT who posted his truck and it had one and he told what brand it was in the post so I went and found me one and this is how and where I put it. What do you think. It is a Marinco 527RI. The pictures were taken with my phone so not the best but better than nothing.
I first put tape over where I wanted it so the hole saw would not eat the chrome up.
Then using a 2" hole saw cut the hole for the plug.
Then mounted the plug it has a electrical conduit type lock nut on the back and 3 screw holes in the front to mount it in secure.

Thanks.. And I am glad I read that post. You also had a great idea mounting it in the bumper which I think looks good.

looks sharp..nice job..did you cover the back of the plug with any thing?? the only problem i would see is if you get a lot of snow and they use a lot of salt..it tend to plaster the back of the bumper right there..salt and wires dont play well together..or is that Marinco a sealed unit where only the coated cord sticks out??
