What are you towing a camper? I have a 30 ft toy hauler that weighs 5500lbs empty but with my 2- big lifted arctic cats and geat i'm up close to 7K lbs and i can tow it but i feel it on hills pretty good. I also have the 5.4 but i have a few add on's like the edge performance box, exhaust system k&n air intake... and i'm turning 35 inch tires...

You will be able to pull it but you will feel it.I would deffinatly look into some performance up grades. I'm still not sure on how to post pic's here but if you have an e-mail address i can send you a pic of what my truck looks like with the camper.

i pulled a 33 ft camper (6700# dry) with my 05 scab 5.4 and it did ok. i was not totally comfortable with it but i think most of that was me. be careful not to overload the trailer with belongings dont exceed cvgw and make darn sure to have a good equalizer hitch set up. it might be a good idea to stop at a scale and weigh the t& t combo as loaded .
i was able to run 60-65 mph but would lock out o/d on hills. i didnt try it on any steep grades so i dont know how it would do on them.
