Before talking about 2011 F100 wait to see if ford makes through december
Yeah, I see what you mean, but it would appear that Ford is in better shape than the other 2 builders. Asking for a line of credit "just in case" is better than needing a cash infusion or else......

I was pretty sure that I read that they were postponing it for awhile. Maybe I dreampt that one up.
As for it being on the website as a 2010 model, I couldn't find it anywhere on the the Ford Motor site or the SVT site.
Not saying you are wrong or dreaming but I was reading about it on Ford's web site earlier today.
Click on the link. It directs you to fordvehicles .com. The article is there as of 12/29 12:15a. It's under the news & events section - click view all.
"the all-new 2010 F-150 SVT Raptor, a purpose-built, high-performance off-road truck that’s versatile enough to take on the most challenging desert adventures, as well as the everyday commute. Coming spring 2009"
I hope that I am wrong and they do still produce these bada$$ trucks. Even though I can't afford one I still want someone in my area to buy one so I can drool everytime I see it at the corner store.
ya, really. i hope your right. they just postpone the truck. I really, really want one. BUt they will probably be like $40,000 for that truck when you can get a new f-250 for that
The Raptor isn't going anywhere, it's being produced. If you move the 2009 F-150 forum, there is a recent thread posted by a fella that saw one the other day.
I'm more interested n the F-100 and a Bronco twin. The Raptor can go away as far as I'm concerned.

At the Detroit three couldn't tell you how much a loaf of bread costs so at this point in time I don't hold out much hope for them getting it right in regards to fixing what ails the domestic auto industry.
That said I think it would be great if Bill Ford went incognito and lived in several parts of the country for 6 months, during that time he could attend sporting events Races, baseball games hockey games (come on I am Canadian after all) and football games as well as malls and vintage car shows.
He should eat at Dennys and Mcdonalds Pizza Hut and TGFI fridays and some of the local home town dinners.
He should get to know America and Americans and see and drive what they are driving used to drive and are looking to drive in the future.
Then he should go back home and think about his little adventure for another month, don't rush it.
Then he should let folks know in a press conference that he has lived amongst them and has gotten to know them and (middle America) the most valuable resource in America and that he is now ready to like his Great grampa build autos they can all be proud of and want to buy.
I know I'm a dreamer, but i think Bill Ford has it in him.
Rick.
