Is your exhaust tip(s) clean or are they black? Any mods to the truck? You're stuck in regen mode right now. If everything is working properly, and you've just been taking a bunch of short trips, get it out on the freeway for half an hour or so to let it complete the regen cycle.

If the exhaust tips are black, or you've been making several long freeway trips, then it's time to visit the dealer. We do have a section for the 6.4 diesel located here https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum169/

You'll find lot's more info on the regen process and other issues with the new diesels there.

Check out the post in the 6.4 section about fuel additives and regen.I have not had anymore problems since I got it on the highway for a long drive instead of motoring around town for 2 weeks.

yup, you gotta get it on the freeway or highway of some kind to get it over 30 mph and keep it there. Need to run it about 30 mins to get thru the cycle properly. May take you a bit longer than that since it continously has been on.

Thanks, Day 3 or 4 now!!!!! I drive 5 miles to work and back each day and about 1 mile to my girlfriends house. This weekend I have a 4 hour trip to the race track which should be good enough!
