Thanks guys for the responses. Rich (CGL) is sending me a piece of 4" stainless exhaust pipe for my intake. I wanted something to clamp the filter to. I have heard of filters leaking or coming off that are connected directly to the intake tube. Some may not have a problem but I just want to make sure. I also didn't want to use pvc, but that is just a personal choice. I got my filter from fleetfilters.com it arrived yesterday, and the 4" pipe should be here wed.

 

I'd reach across the counter and slap the counter-person. That is the NAPA filter number.

Neal, I think this is the WIX equivalent, isn't it?

 

Fleetpride filters sell them they carry the Baldwin IIRC AP2818 it is the same as NAPA just half the price, I paid $27.00 for mine.
