'48-'52 rear sway bar install

Any members ever install a rear sway bar on your truck ? Have one and am not sure on exactly where it attaches .Any one have a pic of a rear sway bar on your truck ? It was purchased at the Turkey Run ( very inexpensive & complete w/ all hardware but no insructions .Seller did not know anything .Thanks ,Denny

If it is a complete kit with all brackets you should be able to lay it all out and figure out how it mounts.
The sway bar either has to mount to the frame with brackets and the ends attach to the housing or the bar is attached to the housing and the ends go to the frame. I would guess the bar would attach to the frame but it could be either way.

Can you post a picture of the bar and brackets etc.

I used an aftermarket sway bar kit but my rear end is a Mopar. Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures but maybe you can learn something from them anyway...

If you are running stock rear springs, I am not sure a sway bar would do any good. The rear springs are so stiff that you won't get enough deflection on a corner to energize the 'bar. If you have softened up the rear, it would probably help.
