speedometer cable hole plug

Does anyone make a plug that will close off the hole for the speedometer cable, where it goes into the transmission? Not going to have a speedometer on the mud truck and need to plug off the hole. Hate to have to revert to the ole wooden plug trick..

In 1992 when speedometers started being driven from the rear end sensor many 4x2 transmissions still had speedo drive openings which were pluged with a plastic plug. A search of a wrecking yard might come up with one.

Do you still have the old speedometer cable? Just cut it off and put it back in the transmission. This is what I do.
