I had my delayed new-employee six-month evaluation today merged with the annual eval, and I passed.
So Christmas for me looks cheery.
Alas younger brother just got laid off from where he works. Thankfully though the condo is paid off and his wife makes enough to support the two ongoing new car payments.

Van is doing okie, ty.
I've had whiffs of antifreeze, so they added dye to the coolant last Saturday.
The 5R110 trans bypass filter is seeping at one of its quick disconnect fittings and they are replacing the entire upper housing as repair parts are not provided for it.
The upper housing alone lists for over $100 iirc. Warranty should cover it.
Its convenient that they are replacing it for it allows me a 'test subject' to disassemble without fear.
I want to replace one of those quick disconnect fittings with a JIC Flare to facilitate connecting in my full flow filter.
I need the QD out to discover what if any standard JIC adapter might fit.
For all I know Ford used thread-locking compound on it and I'll round it off before I ever get it out.
The van goes back into Ford this Saturday.
