Intake Manifold for 223 I6

Intake Manifold for 223 I6
I've seen Clifford, Fenton (rare) and Offy (Offenhauser) manifolds sell on ebay but haven't been able to snag one yet. Any other good sources?
I have an exhaust manifold that was welded into a dual (but not done right)
and want to replace it with a header (Clifford / Patriot) and think it should
probably be matched up with an intake manifold upgrade and maybe even an extra carb.
I think it would be cool to weld up some short runners and bolt up a couple weber carbs directly to the four ports (not cheap but cool) never seen it done. One of my favorite looking intakes has always been a set of 8 stacks on a Hillborn injection unit on a v8. Three glass bowls on an offy is a close second.
Thanks!
Bryan

Hey Brian,
I have a brand new intake for my 215 I-6. I think they are the same size? It is an Offy dual intake with the gasket and linkage. I don't have the skills to run the lines and synch, so I'm open to giving it up. Have anything you want to trade? My '53 is mostly stock. PM me if you want to chat.

It looks like you can still buy the Clifford one from (wait for it...) Clifford (single 4 bbl), and google turned up an Offy at aaamarine.com and summitracing.com (3128-8 Offenhauser Ford 223 3 carb intake manifold).
http://www.offyparts.com has dual and triple carb versions for 52-53, 54-56, 57-59 223 engines.

Thanks Angus !
I saw the Clifford website, not sure I want to buy a new intake manifold for a 50 year old truck. I'm trying to be frugal, believe me it is hard! For now
I would like to stay old skool with the I6, it looks cool and drives fine.
I figure a header and intake will really wake it up.
I need to talk with someone who knows about the Offy setups, I have heard the 3 carb is for later 223's vs the 215's. I worry about getting the 3 carb setup to work properly. I am sure the Clifford with a 4bbl is easy to setup and has plenty of flow for this engine.

I would call Dan at Exeter Auto Supply. He sells the Offys and can answer all of your questions. http://www*****terautosupply.com/
