Problems with Window Felts

Here are some pics of the new window felts ("anti-rattler" kit) I got from DC. DC supplies these to others, I think? Anyway, if you have some, check them before installing. You can see the felt is not glued down at the bend near the rear, and one picture shows my felt that is about 3 yrs old (not very used, really). It caused the window to jam and ultimately come off the tracks. I have sent the pics to DC to see if they can do something about it. They clearly glue the felts to the backer, then bend them.

I used 3M weatherstrip adhesive to glue the felt back down in this area and am going to try them.

I had the same problem as the 2nd photo and thought it was just wear.

Thanks for the tip.

Do mid-50's have a similar bend in them?

Looks like a delamination problem first then wear.

I also bought mine from DC.

The pic on top is brand-new, out of the box. There is no way the window won't catch on that.
