toolbox lift cylinders

I have a weathergaurd tool box and both of the cylinders that hold the lid open are shot, I called weathergaurd they want over a $100 for them, anyone know where I might find them cheaper?

You might try:

Gas Props and Camper Shell Parts including Truck Boots

...although these might not be strong enough for your tool box lid. There are some other suppliers.

Good Luck,

Hank,
That's looks like they just might work, getting tired of holding the lid up with my head while I get something out. Thanks

Got mine at NAPA. Just take one of your old ones with you and they will match it up.

Yes, there are many local store that carry the struts. They shouldn't be more than $25 each. Sachez, and Maxlift were the two I commonly used and had to spec out.
