Lift Help

I need some help....I have a 94 F150 2WD, 300 I6, 5 Speed Mazda with a 4" Cepek stage II lift, 2" body lift, 35x12.5 Pro-comp A/T on 15X10 A/E 589's and 4:10 gears.

Well, I want to go to a 6" lift now. I went to 4Wheelparts for the 6" lift springs (Pro-comp) and they were the same size as my 4" lift springs. The salesman thought maybe when Cepek installed the lift they put in 6" springs instead of the 4" springs. I don't think thats the case here because the rear was lifted with 2" blocks. Anyway my only options now (acording to 4Wheelparts) is to go with 8" Superlift springs. I am not opposed to an 8" lift, I would just rather go with a 6" lift. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Kevin

It's early, and I might be reading you post wrong, but if they
accidentaly installed 6" in the front and only installed a 2"block in the rear, the truck would be noticebly higher in the front.
Basicaly a 4" lift consists of 2" in the rear and 4" in the front, this makes the truck level, due to a 2" rake from the factory.
Maybe the spings look the same but have different compresion rates.
Ask him to see a 4" ,6" and 8" just to compare. Perhaps call another shop and ask them about springs and measurements.

You read it right. I personally don't think a 6" lift was accidently installed, because of the rear block too. You're right it would be higher in the front with the smaller blocks in the back. When I tried to install 6" Procomp springs they we exactly the same size as the 4" spring. I also thought of the different compression rates so I installed one of the new spring and it still sat level and didn't raise it at all. So I took out the new spring and returned them thinking that maybe Procomp just marked the box wrong. I had 4Wheelparts get me another set and sure enough they were the same size. Thats when he (the guy at 4Wheelparts) told me I may already have a 6" lift. He told me he didn't know what the spring measurements were supposed to be. They didn't have any other springs avaliable to compair the sizes. Thanks for all the suggestions and I appriecate the help.

how many leafs are there in the rear springs? was a add-a-leafe installed? i have a 4" rough country lift on my 81 4x4. the rear has a addaleaf (which only gives it 3" of lift). and i have a stock 2" block in the rear. do you have a add a leaf in the rear? and do you have a 2" block on top of the stock block?
