Hello,
Just got me an Expy (used this time) for the second time, last one was a 2005. Ran into this 2007 and could not pass it up.
It is an EB EL if it makes a difference. My manual does not tell me were to find code and as it was purchased use I don't have the code card as I had for the 2005. On my 2005 the manual says it was on passengers kick panel on the RAP module.
Can anyone here help and point me in the right direction. Another poster here was told take it to the dealer.
Remote Anti-theft Personality, or the module for the keyless entry. It usually has a sticker on it with the vehicles code. No need now though, the dealer got me code free of charge. In case you are wondering, the expy was purchased used.
Laz, that's rather clever thinking, too find an Expedition that's all ready broken in, the little nusinces taken care of by the prievious owner. All you need do is enjoy your purchase.......
I agree William,
it is just a matter of finding a good deal.
Well, it is a 2007, but even with current employee pricing and rebates, i still picked up my EB EL EXPY for 19,999., BB is 26,000, it has everything but the electric lift gate, navigation, heavy duty tow package (7 pin).
I think it has everything else. DVD, backup sensors (which by the way are hidden), two tone leather....it has everthing. Even still has 13,000 or 1 year of warranty left on it.
I can't complaing. Who every had it before me, lease, appears to have taken good care of it. For the time being I already got the key fobs and key code, so I am good to go....
Just FYI since you already got the code. The 07's and up do not have the code anywhere in the cabin or body. YOu have to have the card or take it to the dealer to find it.
Hope this is O.K on this thread Goes along with a lot of wiring questions and locations of various parts, including a RAP module, if they are still separate. The EVTM's have saved me several times, and I still use them to attempt to answer some wiring questions.
Has anyone ordered the EVTM from Helm Inc? I have it for all my other various older cars/bronco. The Helm site uses slightly different descriptions for 07~ manuals so I am not entirely sure what is included in each manual. I am curious if anyone else has ordered one, if not, I guess I will just order something anyway ---might good fire starter material at least.
