need help cracking the oasis code
First I want to thank FTE for the oasis report. It is amazing the information you can source on this site.
Now for the bad news. This report reads like greek to me for the most part. A lot of it is just the basics but some of it is hard to get my head around. The TSB codes in my ARN messages don't seem to be in the database on this site. Just kinda wondering what they were.
What is the difference between the standard claims list and the warranty repair history? Any chance the keypad code is located in this report? One comment states that I may have future problems because of something that happened. Does this mean if something related to this did happen it may be covered under warranty?
Jusy looking for any and all information on making the most sense as I can out of this report and any and all information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

The "Warranty Repair History" is a list of what Ford considers recent repairs made on the vehicle. The "Standard Claims List" is every warranty repair that has ever been made on the vehicle.
As for the possibility of future problems comment, I am not sure how that would be handled by the dealer or Ford. In my opinion, it is a good thing to be there though should you have any future problems that could be related to the original issue...
Sorry, keypad codes are not listed anywhere within the OASIS...

You cannot get the keycode from the report / vin! The report is their to let people know what has been done, it doesn't mean theirs going to be any further issues. I work at a dealership and oasis is just a guideline to figure out if a TSB has been done or to find TSB's for an issue or just check out the history to make diagnosis / repairs more efficent. Standard claims list is just for the warrenty administrator to put in the codes for labor ops / parts used. Warrenty repair history is just information on what has been done under warrenty / recalls. Future problems due to something that has happened isnt necesarilly going to happen. Regardless of the reports when warrenty is over it doesnt matter you have lost all coverage. What exactly are you worried about? Oasis reports don't make a vehicle better or worse than others, as many times luck runs out, even on vehicles that have a clean report (they can be the worse sometimes) Oasis is also nice if you know of a problem part and you find you have the updated one (makes you feel safer knowing you have the good one :-) ) If you have no issiues no need to worry about TSB's as it doesn't always effect every vehicle under the vin #.

If you need the keypad code you have to go to the dealership and have them use the scan tool to retrieve the stock code. (If you have the factory pad)
If you have the aftermarket keyless entry (stuck on by double backing tape / programmed like a key fob) you will have to have it replaced if you lose the code or if the batteries go bad.
