Holley 600 CFM Choke Conversion

I originally placed this post in the Carb forum but received no replies so I thought I would try here. Is it possible to convert the choke on a Holley 600 CFM (80457-2) from an automatic to a manual choke? If so, how difficult is it? I would like to do this on my '50 F1 which has a 351W.

Thanks

manual choke

I have replaced several manuals with electrics and am sure it can be done in reverse. Somewhere, out back in the tall grass, I am sure I still have the old manual hookups. Too bad you are so far away, freebies for sure! Anyway, I dont think its rocket science. Got any performance shops around?

For an old "home boy" I will be glad to make a real effort to see if I have one and sent to you if you dont have any luck. I dont think they are terribly expensive, might not be worth the effort to ship, but I will if needed----if I still have it

If you don't find one elsewhere, I have a ton of old Holleys, some with automatic chokes and some with manual. I think I even have a new, in the box, manual choke kit from Holley. I am in Southern Maine and you can call me at 207 252 0996.
